Ingredients and quantities

Quantities for 4 people:

  • 1 litre milk
  • 180g sugar
  • 180g cocoa powder
  • 9 egg yolks
  • 100g superfine flour
  • 40g butter
  • lemon zest
  • 1 sachet vanilla powder

Preparation method:

Whisk the eggs and sugar together and add the flour and cocoa powder. Heat the milk with some lemon zest and add the vanilla powder. Mix all the ingredients together, along with a knob of butter. Bring to the boil and pour into moulds or small glasses. Allow to cool before chilling in the fridge.
