Ingredients and quantities

Quantities for 8-10 people:

  • 300g white flour
  • 300g cornmeal flour (fine)
  • 300g sugar
  • 150g butter
  • 150g lard
  • 3 egg yolks
  • lemon rind
  • pinch of salt
  • 150g coarsely chopped almonds

“Sbrisulina” crumble cake

Preparation method:

Place the two types of flour and sugar on a pastry board and incorporate the lard and butter, egg yolks and lemon rind. Knead the pastry until smooth and compact. Butter a baking tray and line with the pastry. Bake for approx. 40 minutes at 180°C. When cooked, remove the cake from the baking tray before it cools to stop it crumbling.
