Quantities for 1 cake:

  • 250ml whole milk
  • 75g caster sugar
  • 2 fresh eggs
  • 50g butter
  • 75ml sweet Albana di Romagna wine
  • 250g superfine flour
  • 8g baking powder
  • ¼ grated lemon zest

Preparation method:

Cream together the butter and sugar in a bowl and then add the eggs, flour, milk and wine, grated lemon zest and, last of all, the baking powder. Mix until smooth and uniform. Butter a baking tin, pour in the cake mixture and place in an oven pre-heated to 180°C for about 30 minutes.
