Ingredients and quantities

Quantities for 2 people:

  • 2 mullet, weighing approx. 200g each
  • 2 cloves garlic
  • ½ glass extra-virgin olive oil  
  • ½ glass dry Albana wine
  • ½ glass water
  • salt
  • pepper
  • parsley
Accompanying wines:
Dry Romagna DOCG Albana

Marinated mullet

Type of recipe: Appetizers

Preparation method:

Clean and gut the mullet and remove scales. In a large pan, sauté the garlic in the oil. Add the mullet, placing them next to each other to create a single layer on the bottom of the pan. Season with salt and pepper to taste and add a large bunch of chopped parsley, wine and water. Cook the mullet over a low heat and without a lid until the liquid has totally evaporated. Serve.
