Ingredients and quantities

Quantities for 7-8 people:

  • 500g flour
  • 200g butter
  • 1 whole egg
  • 1 egg yolk
  • 1 sachet vanilla baking powder
  • 1 sachet vanilla icing sugar
  • plum jam
Accompanying wines:
Colli Piacentini Bonarda DOC or sweet sparkling Malvasia

Preparation method:

Put the flour on a pastry board and form a well in the centre. Add all the other ingredients, except the jam, and knead lightly. Chill the pastry in the fridge for 30 minutes. Roll out using a rolling pin until about 1-2 cm thick and use to line a greased baking tin. Pour in the jam and spread evenly. With the remaining pastry, roll out some long strips and decorate the surface of the tart in the traditional lattice pattern. Bake for 30 minutes at 170°C
