The project

The “TIPICO A TAVOLA. Emilia-Romagna, Mediterranean traditions and flavours” brand was set up to promote and champion the development of a food and wine culture in Emilia-Romagna.

The restaurants and other types of catering establishments that have joined the project, prepare or reinterpret traditional regional recipes, thanks also to the use of traditional and typical local products.

The TIPICO A TAVOLA brand is a guarantee for customers, as it indicates restaurants that comply with the quality requisites laid down by a special set of regulations regarding the menus, the products, the personnel, the restaurants, professionalism and expertise.

TIPICO A TAVOLA is supported by the Conservatoire International des Cuisines Méditerranéennes (CICM - Conservatory of Mediterranean Cuisines), an important international institute that aims to protect and divulge the heritage of Mediterranean cuisine and products.

A technical-scientific committee presides and monitors activities linked to the brand, promoting training and refresher initiatives and checking compliance with the requisites established.

The “TIPICO A TAVOLA. Emilia-Romagna, Mediterranean traditions and flavours” brand was conceived and established by CAT Confesercenti Emilia-Romagna and is issued by the Italian Federation of Commercial Businesses (FIEPET) of Emilia-Romagna.
