Ristorante L’insonnia was born thanks to a project backed by Barchi Iader, the owner, who took over the previous business, changing both the name and look of the venue. It is on the very edge of the old town centre of Forlì, overlooking the ancient walls of the fortress of Caterina Sforza, lady of Imola and Forlì in the latter half of the 15th century. During the summer months, customers can dine in the welcoming cobbled garden, surrounded by bushes and flowers; the entrance effectively opens onto a waterfall fountain. The restaurant uses locally-sourced, top-quality ingredients and serves dishes based on seasonal produce, using processes that exalt the flavour of the food and guarantee an unforgettable gastronomic experience. Dishes include assorted fish starters, homemade spaghetti with seafood sauce, passatelli with seafood and European lobster sauce, mixed grilled fish and shellfish and mixed fried fish. On entering the restaurant, an elegant marble and wood cabinet displays an extensive and varied selection of wines and spirits. Service is provided by highly-trained staff and the restaurant always offers customers professionalism and courtesy. <<<
