La Ca’ di Mat restaurant, which is housed in a renovated farmhouse, offers a particularly welcoming atmosphere. Its staff is extremely friendly and immediately make customers feel right at home. Furthermore, it has maintained its focus on families by adding a children’s games area to the premises. The cuisine offers a vast selection of traditional dishes that include, by way of example, tortellini cooked in broth, pumpkin tortelli with mirepoix, Ricotta cheese and spinach-filled tortelli with butter and Parmesan cheese, pot roast donkey, roast kid goat and beef tagliata. Another feature of the restaurant is its selection of game specialities, such as deer and wild boar salami and cured ham, pappardelle with hare sauce, roe deer ravioli, risotto with quail sauce and fallow deer or wild boar stew. All dishes are prepared using traditional regional products and all pasta is fresh and handmade. Customers shouldn’t miss the chance to try handmade maccheroncini with wild boar sauce, zuppa inglese (a kind of trifle) or chocolate salami, all homemade. <<<
