The son of farmers, who grew up in the green countryside of the Samoggia Valley, Renzo Masi has always felt a close link to local traditions. His passion for typical cuisine, along with has entrepreneurship, have led him to set up La Chiesaccia with his wife and children. It is a hotel and restaurant renowned in the entire area for its wholesome recipes, which have been handed down through his family, and the warm welcome he reserves all his guests. Every day the restaurant offers a vast choice of menus with traditional dishes and fresh homemade pasta and desserts, with particular focus on the choice of typical produce used in the recipes and chosen thanks to Renzo’s long-standing experience. These include delicious PDO Parmesan cheese that has been matured 30 months, excellent balsamic vinegar, mortadella from Bologna and a selection of local wines. Friday at lunch a number of fish dishes are prepared using top-quality, locally-sourced produce. Modern and functional, the restaurant has recently been renovated and, as it does not have architectural barriers, is accessible to everyone. <<<
