Ingredients and quantities

Quantities for 4 people:

  • ½kg salt cod
  • a handful of flour
  • 2 cloves garlic
  • water and milk
  • rosemary and salt

Salt cod fritters

Preparation method:

Soak the salt cod in water overnight. Boil in water for 10 minutes and when cold, remove the bones and cut into pieces. In the meantime, put the flour in a bowl with some salt and chopped garlic and rosemary. Mix with cold water and milk to form a batter. Coat the salt cod in the batter and fry in plenty of oil. Serve hot, accompanied by a slice of polenta if desired.
