Shellfish soup

Preparation method:
In a large saucepan, sauté the garlic and chopped chilli in a little olive oil. Add the mussels, clams, scallops, king prawns and scampi. Cook for a few minutes and then pour in the wine and reduce. Add the tomato purée and cook for 7/8 minutes until the sauce has thickened. Serve in small soup bowls with slices of toasted bread. This dish is excellent as either a starter or a main course.
